COMPLEX SENTENCES: A complex sentence has a main clause and a subordinate clause. The main clause makes sense on its own. The subordinate clause is dependent on the main clause to make sense, it would not make sense to the reader without the other part of the sentence.

TASK: Write 5 different complex sentences below using the sheets we did in class to help you come up with ideas. each complex sentence must be about a different type of animal and include interesting words and vocabulary. Use the highlight tool to colour the main clause blue and the subordinate clause red.
